Korea Blockchain Week 2025 and TOKEN2049 Singapore 2025, two major Web3 AI events in Asia, just wrapped up last week, and the Aethir crew was on the ground, spreading its vision of universal cloud computing. We had the pleasure of hosting five of our own main events and joining numerous additional partner events, as well as exciting speaking opportunities at both conferences.
Web 3 AI events, such as KBW and TOKEN2049, provide tremendous networking opportunities, ultimately benefiting the entire Web3, AI, and crypto industries in the long run.

Aethir’s Key Panels and Speaking Engagements at Korea Blockchain Week 2025
We had three amazing main Web3 AI events at Korea Blockchain Week 2025. First, we kicked off the conference week by gathering a curated list of industry leaders, Aethir ecosystem partners, and esteemed professionals at Pioneer Connect: KBW Ignition, an evening event that seamlessly blended networking and nightlife.

At deAI Day, we hosted five exciting panels on the current state and future of Web3 AI evolution. The first panel, “Building AI at Scale: The Battle for Next-Gen Infrastructure”, featured Mark Rydon, Aethir’s Co-founder & CSO, alongside Aethir ecosystem partners from EigenCloud, GEODNET, Gonka, and Nubila. Mark dived into the necessity of decentralized cloud infrastructure as the key prerequisite for scalable AI innovation in Web3, emphasizing Aethir’s role in pioneering a global, developer-friendly, and cost-effective cloud computing model.

The second panel, “AI x Stablecoins: Infrastructure, Risk, and the Road to 2025”, explored the intersection of the stablecoin economy and AI creativity, featuring esteemed speakers from Chainlink, IVC, Mezo, Bless, and Lagrange.
Next up was a dynamic panel discussion titled "DeFAI and Beyond: Building the Autonomous Economy", which discussed the blend of DeFi and AI as the future iteration of decentralized financial services, enhanced by AI agents. Jaden Yan, Chairperson of the Aethir Foundation, was joined by representatives of Bluwhale, Perle Labs, OpenLedger, and Theoriq in this panel.
In the fourth panel of the day, “AI Agents and RWAs: From Compute Infrastructure to Capital Markets”, our partners from Plume, AR.IO, Kite AI, Theta Labs, and UpsideOS talked about the innovative potential of RWA and AI agentic integration, opening up access to whole new asset classes to millions of users, on-chain, powered by AI functionalities.
deAI Day’s final panel, “From Traders to Agents: How AI Empowers Korea’s Retail Crypto Economy”, featured representatives of Talus Network, Antix, GAIB, KGeN, and IoTeX. The panel discussion examined the practical implications of AI integration for Korea’s cryptocurrency community and everyday retail experiences.

Aethir’s final main Web3 AI event at Korea Blockchain Week 2025 was the extravagant deAI Ecosystem VIP Dinner, an excellent opportunity to summarize conference impressions and exchange opinions with our closest ecosystem partners, complemented with a live piano performance and exceptional cuisine.

Apart from the official main Web3 AI events, Aethir’s representatives also joined various additional side events and partner events.
At R3al World Happy Hour, Dan Wang, Aethir’s Co-founder & CEO, joined colleagues from Theta Labs, Nodit, and IoTeX to discuss the convergence of DePIN and Real-World AI in an era of unprecedented AI innovation across most global industries.

DeSci Seoul was an excellent speaking opportunity for Aethir’s Co-founder & CSO, Mark Rydon, who discussed the key painpoints, opportunities, and solutions for scalable and efficient infrastructure, focusing on Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud solutions during the “Web3 Approach for AI Development & Infrastructure” panel with colleagues from Pundi AI, Flock, and Gonka.

At Proof of AI - KBW, Mark Rydon joined the “Next-Generation AI Infrastructure for the Autonomous Economy” panel to explore how next-generation AI infrastructure is shaping the autonomous economy. Panel participants included speakers from Hashed, Flock, GAIB, Gradient, and Supernet AI.

Aethir’s Head of Ecosystem, Arpit Sharma, joined the Hack Seasons Opportunity Mixer’s “When AI Rewires Web3, Who Wins?” panel discussion alongside esteemed colleagues from KGeN, Cronos, Aleph Cloud, and NEAR Foundation to talk about the transformative potential of Web3 AI.

Mark Rydon, Aethir’s CSO, had another exciting speaking opportunity at K-INFRA: Building DePIN in Korea, titled “Korea Go to Market, Minus the Myths,” where he discussed local market conditions for AI innovation in Web3 on the Korean market, alongside co-speakers from NodeOps, Piggycell, U2U Network, and BeatSwap.

Our partners from GAIB organized the splendid RWAIfi Summit in Seoul, where Mark Rydon joined an exciting panel called “AI at Scale: Challenges, Risks, and the Path Forward”, discussing AI and RWA’s growth perspective with colleagues from L2IV, Camp Network, CARV, and Mawari.

TOKEN2049 Singapore 2025 Highlights
TOKEN2049 was an extraordinary opportunity to connect with visionary builders and colleagues from across the Web3, AI, and DePIN sectors and exchange ideas about the industry’s current state and future growth perspective.
Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud organized two exciting networking events during the conference, focused on DePIN ecosystem growth. The events were attended by numerous Aethir ecosystem partners, fostering AI innovation in Web3 and blockchain creativity.

We kicked off TOKEN2049 Singapore 2025 with our deAI Ecosystem VIP Dinner, which brought together numerous Aethir ecosystem partners from across the Web3 and AI landscapes, engaging in meaningful conversations and discussions while enjoying premium cuisine and a pleasant atmosphere at the ALTRO Zafferano Rooftop Italian Restaurant.

Next up was our Brew & BrAIve, the AI x Web3 Coffee Rave event, which introduced something totally new to Web3 conference attendees. We combined a laid-back afternoon of specialty coffee with live DJ and dance-floor energy, resulting in a never-before-seen blend of coffee, music, and Web3 networking.


Finally, at Casa Nebula 2049, Mark Rydon, Aethir’s Co-founder & CSO, had the opportunity to announce the launch of Aethir’s groundbreaking Digital Asset Treasury, in collaboration with Predcitive Oncology, establishing the first Strategic Compute Reserve.
“Aethir has launched its Digital Asset Treasury, having raised over $344 million. On-market buys will be happening very soon, so stay tuned. This is the world’s first Strategic Compute Reserve. This is something that’s never been done before, and I’m very proud to be sharing it with all of you today,” said Mark at the event, unveiling Aethir’s DAT at TOKEN2049 Singapore.

More Speaking Opportunities at TOKEN2049 Singapore 2025
Similar to Korea Blockchain Week 2025, Aethir’s representatives also had the opportunity to participate in exciting panel discussions at various additional Web3 AI events.
Aethir’s Head of Ecosystem, Arpit Sharma, participated in the DePIN APAC Summit by joining a panel called “The $20B Question: Can DePIN Beat the Cloud Giants?” alongside colleagues from NodeOps, StorX, Filecoin Foundation, and Impossible Cloud Network. The panel examined what it would take for decentralized infrastructure to surpass centralized cloud monopolies and become a mainstream choice for companies' infrastructure.

Mark Rydon, Aethir’s Co-founder & CSO, participated in the Hashkey Global On-chain Asset Summit, where he emphasized, “Once AI reaches a certain level of capability, you’ll want more than just answers, you’ll want it to actually execute. That execution layer is agents, and stablecoins are the natural payment rails for that kind of infrastructure.”

Mark also joined the “Scaling the Physical Layer: Infrastructure Challenges for DePIN Builders” panel at InnoBlock 2025 along with representatives of GEODNET, DeNet, Genpulse, and ARO Network. Speakers examined the current state of the DePIN sector, the technical and regulatory barriers to scaling, and the delicate balance between decentralization, performance, and coordination.
