Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud computing infrastructure is secured by a network of 91,000 community-owned Checker Nodes, responsible for ensuring that all GPU Containers in our network maintain optimal quality of service for our clients at all times. By running Checker Nodes, community members are directly contributing to the security and stability of the Aethir DePIN stack. Checker Nodes are rewarded with ATH tokens daily for their role in supporting our decentralized GPU cloud. Each Checker Node earns a daily ATH reward based on its uptime, and every three months, all Checker Nodes with exceptional uptime receive additional bonus rewards. 

This way, Checker Node holders are incentivized to maintain their nodes operational 24/7. Additionally, Checker Node holders are constantly getting valuable surprises from our ecosystem partners as appreciation for their role in powering Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud computing infrastructure. Aethir’s Staking Pools

Staking is a key utility of ATH and is of vital importance for supporting the stability and daily operations of Aethir’s decentralized compute infrastructure. Through Aethir’s User Portal, ATH holders can stake their tokens in one or both of our two staking pools, ATH - Gaming and ATH - AI. By staking in one of these two pools, users contribute to Aethir’s AI and gaming ecosystems and support our compute network. Through staking, users directly participate in Aethir’s AI cloud services and gaming compute solutions. Unlike many staking platforms that offer relatively low returns, Aethir’s staking service is designed to provide sustainable staking rewards above industry standards while maintaining operational stability. We are pioneering a sustainable staking model powered by Web3 infrastructure for AI and gaming. 

Users can stake ATH for up to nearly 4 years to maximize their rewards, which are distributed weekly, every Thursday. Once distributed, stakers can immediately claim their ATH rewards and manage them freely. Furthermore, by depositing their ATH tokens in our staking pools, users are eligible for future rewards and airdrops from our AI and gaming partners. Additionally, once staked, users receive stATH, which is our liquid staking token, which can be used on Sophon’s Farm to earn additional rewards, with more upcoming integrations with partner platforms to offer even more reward options for ATH stakers.

Aethir Cloud Hosts

Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud infrastructure is built with mass scalability in mind. GPU-heavy industries like AI and gaming will only grow, which means their need for decentralized GPU cloud compute will also increase exponentially. Decentralized cloud infrastructure is the only cost-efficient solution for powering the growing AI and gaming sectors. Aethir’s GPU network is already powerful enough to support vast volumes of GPU-heavy workloads, but to maintain momentum and scalability, Aethir is onboarding new cohorts of Cloud Hosts. Our network of Cloud Hosts represents enterprises and individual GPU providers who are supporting Aethir’s clients with GPU compute power. Our new cohorts of Cloud Hosts will contribute to improved GPU workload optimization while supporting Aethir’s edge computing capabilities, as well as our GPU-as-a-service for gaming and AI offerings.

By joining Aethir’s DePIN stack as compute providers, Cloud Hosts earn ATH rewards in return. Aethir’s $100 Million Ecosystem Fund: Supporting AI and Gaming Innovation

For this reason, we created a $100 million Ecosystem Fund that provides compute grants, subsidies, and token grants to eligible enterprises building groundbreaking projects in the AI and gaming industries. We have already announced three batches of AI agent partners supported by our Ecosystem Fund.
