Aethir's July 2024 Recap
July at Aethir has just ended with a bang, namely our Community Bonus Rewards Program, which has taken the spotlight with $20M worth of ATH distributed to Checker Node holders. However, the past month was filled with exciting events and developments that showcase Aethir's dedication to constant evolution, growth, and community appreciation. Aethir is here to make a significant difference in the DePIN sector by revolutionizing cloud computing through decentralization and high-performance computing.
In this edition of Aethir’s monthly recap, we will examine all the key highlights in July.
Introducing Aethir's Annual Revenue and Core Business
Aethir's decentralized GPU cloud infrastructure is a game changer for clients in the AI and gaming space looking to leverage enterprise-grade, high-performance computing solutions. We unveiled Aethir's core business model to show the whole Web3 community how Aethir envisions universal cloud computing, Aethir’s value proposition, and the full scope of Aethir's services. Aethir is the only enterprise-grade decentralized GPU cloud computing provider on the market, and we're all geared up towards AI, machine learning, and gaming as the most GPU-intensive industries of today. Our massively decentralized network of over 91,000 Checker Nodes, 80,000+ top-shelf GPUs, and over 3000 NVIDIA H100s is paving the way for a new era of universal cloud computing. Aethir's Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Bare Metal offerings provide efficient and reliable GPU computing solutions for all types of enterprises at scale.
Furthermore, Aethir reported an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of $36M with a 10% MoM growth. This makes Aethir by far the most profitable GPU DePIN on the market. Staying true to our core Web3 operating principles, we will convert our revenue to ATH and maintain a transparent on-chain revenue model.
Aethir's Community Bonus Rewards Program: $50M for Our Loyal Community Members
Aethir is, above all else, a community-first organization, with community satisfaction as a top priority. In July, the Aethir Foundation announced our groundbreaking Community Bonus Rewards Program. We've decided to distribute $50M worth of ATH to our loyal Aethirians as a sign of sincere appreciation for the community's role in the success of the Aethir DePIN stack. Our decentralized GPU cloud is heavily reliant on the community. Aethir’s 91,000+ Checker Nodes are distributed among 22,000+ node holders, responsible for maintaining the optimal quality of service of our vast network of decentralized GPU Containers. Likewise, ATH stakers have a crucial role in supporting the ATH token's stability and ecosystem liquidity.
That's why the Community Bonus Rewards Program is aimed at Aethir Checker Node holders and stakers. A total of $20M worth of ATH has been allocated to Checker Node holders and is claimable here. As a reminder, all Checker Nodes got a base allocation of ATH, while a bonus reward allocation was given for every 2,500 ATH staked for at least one year, per Checker Node License, before 23 July. Also, Checker Node License holders who staked at least 2,500 ATH per Checker Node for at least one year between 12 June and 23 July received an additional bonus based on time staked, along with a cap of bonus that increases with the number of Checker Node Licenses they are holding.
As for the remaining $30M worth of ATH, we've decided to inject those tokens into the ATH - AI staking pool to massively boost staking rewards over 24 weeks, starting on 8 August. Stakers are in for a massive 6-month reward bonus if they choose to stake in the ATH - AI pool on our native staking platform.
Aethir User Portal Launch
We understand that many Aethir Checker Node holders might choose to stake ATH with a wallet other than the one in which they store their Checker Node Licenses. That's why we launched the Aethir User Portal. This simple, user-friendly dashboard allows Aethir community members to link their EVM wallets and maximize their Community Bonus Rewards Program token allocations.
However, the User Portal goes way beyond the Community Bonus Rewards Program and will be used for future Aethir community benefits. Currently, users can monitor their staking rewards, Checker Node rewards, and ATH asset trends. Also, users can directly access our staking platform and Checker dashboard from the User Portal to manage their ATH staking activity and Checker Node Licenses. This way, users have a one-stop shop for all ATH-related operations through a streamlined, easy-to-use interface.
Exciting Ecosystem Partnerships and More Exclusive Benefits for the Aethir Community
In July, various industry giants in the AI and gaming space joined the vibrant Aethir ecosystem. We welcomed them with open hands to jointly continue shaping the future with breathtaking innovations that are making a true difference in the everyday lives of users around the world. As part of our regular monthly EcoDrop, five of our esteemed partners announced significant benefits for the Aethir community. Astra Nova, easeflow, Inferium, and iAgent have announced airdrops for our loyal Aethirians in the future, while dFusion AI will also contribute a portion of their upcoming token's supply to Aethir's AI staking pool, along with an airdrop.
Aethir's partnerships in the gaming sector have been bolstered by several major players who are innovating the gaming scene with the help of our decentralized GPU cloud infrastructure. GameSwift, SuperScale, Beamable, and Grampus have joined forces with Aethir to leverage the largest decentralized cloud computing network in the world for gaming innovations that will transform the way Web3 games are created, launched, monetized, and played.
Furthermore, we upgraded our partnership with Sophon to the next level by enabling ATH stakers to utilize stATH, our liquid staking token, on the Sophon Farming platform to earn Sophon Points (SP), which will earn stakers a portion of Sophon's upcoming native token.
As part of our commitment to enhancing AI and gaming innovations by offering lightning-fast and highly scalable GPU computing resources, we've been tirelessly working through July to accommodate various additional partners looking to join the Aethir ecosystem.
On the gaming side, Byte Chain, a Layer-1 blockchain for gaming and e-sports, and two exciting Web3 games, BattleRise and ArmourX have partnered with Aethir.
Trailblaze, a decentralized launchpad focused on supporting Web3 innovators, Aylab, a leading Web3 user acquisition platform, and Huddle01, the first DePIN dedicated to making real-time communication performant, secure, and 95% cheaper with blockchain technology, have also joined the Aethir ecosystem and will reap the benefits of our lightning-fast decentralized GPU infrastructure for their users. Additional partners that have joined the Aethir ecosystem include SuiPad, the Sui network's native launchpad, Atleta Network, a sports-oriented Layer-1 project, and Catia Protocol, an on-chain asset publishing platform for premium projects.
Aethir at EthCC: 15 High-Profile DePIN Events
EthCC is one of the top European Web3 events of the year, and Aethir was present as the co-host of not one or two but a staggering 15 events. Our co-founder Mark Rydon joined 15 exciting panels from 7 July to 11 July at EthCC in Brussels, Belgium.
On 7 July, on EthCC's main stage, Mark held an inspiring, in-depth presentation of Aethir's core operating mechanics, describing how our decentralized cloud infrastructure works and benefits AI and gaming enterprises with state-of-the-art GPU resources at scale. His presentation laid out the fundamental challenges and limitations faced by AI and gaming platforms today, paving the way to introduce Aethir's DePIN stack as the go-to solution that can help these industries overcome the boundaries of GPU shortage. Furthermore, Mark introduced Aethir Edge, our flagship cloud computing device, along with our other products and services aimed at bringing upon the decentralized cloud revolution.
On the same day, Mark also joined Open AGI Summit: Shaping the Future of Open AI, AI x DePIN x Social, Hack Seasons Brussels, and SERVERLESS BXL to discuss the state of AI, DePIN, and Aethir's value proposition for tackling issues related to GPU scarcity and scalability with our decentralized GPU infrastructure model.
During the following days, Mark had the opportunity to participate in the following events: EthCC on My MIND: Restaking Without Limits, Converge: Web3 x AI, Path to dAGI Summit, Oasis Rendez-Vous, MagnetAI Open House Brussels, DePIN Day Brussels, Build with AI: Scaling Ethereum and DeFi, Web3 AI Pioneers VIP Dinner, BXL Mastermind Meetup, Path to dAGI Summit" by 0G and Aethir, Path to dAGI Summit @ EthCC.
These events encompassed a broad range of DePIN, AI, and various other Web3 topics, featuring dozens of representatives from leading companies and projects in the industry. Some of the key discussion topics included DePIN innovations, decentralized intelligence, modular blockchains, the future of AI, decentralized computing, restaking, and more.
Aethir's presence at EthCC was well received, with numerous newly established connections and future collaboration possibilities with other industry leaders and promising Web3 platforms.
Round 3 of Aethir Edge Public Sale
At the beginning of July, we conducted the third round of the Aethir Edge public sale, distributing another 1000 devices to Aethir community members worldwide.
As a reminder, Aethir Edge is the first and only authorized enterprise-grade mining AI device integrated with Aethir’s distributed GPU cloud infrastructure allowing community members to become service providers in the Aethir network. By operating Aethir Edge devices, users can mine 23% of the ATH supply over the next four years. With Aethir Edge, anyone can support Aethir’s AI and gaming clients as a GPU cloud computing provider and earn ATH rewards in return, thus becoming a part of the decentralized cloud revolution.
