Aethir's August 2024 Recap
August has been a truly hot summer month for Aethir's DePIN journey. Our team joined various high-profile events to represent the next stage of cloud computing evolution at its finest. We've introduced our ambitious six-month Roadmap, with numerous exciting milestones setting the stage for Aethir's development. During August, we onboarded numerous new partners in need of GPU computing into the fastest-growing DePIN ecosystem for AI and gaming enterprises, and we secured a broad range of exclusive benefits for our community members.

Introducing Aethir's 6-Month Roadmap
As a key innovator in the DePIN sector, Aethir has decided to unveil an ambitious 6-month roadmap to show our community, partners, and colleagues what exactly we plan for the coming period. We've successfully launched Aethir Mainnet, ATH, our network of Checker Nodes, and our staking platform. We are entering the next phase of Aethir's DePIN journey, focusing on introducing a suite of improved services and new products.
Our three main enterprise service tracks are cloud gaming innovation, cloud phone functionality, and AI cloud computing services. In the following period, Aethir will focus on improving our ultra-low-latency cloud gaming capabilities and streamlining GPU services for AI enterprises and AI-powered cloud phone tools.
Between late Q3 and towards the end of Q4 2024, we will launch the Aethir Cloud Portal for enterprise customers. This portal will streamline enterprise onboarding and allow clients to pay for computing services with ATH tokens easily. In Q4, Aethir's infrastructure will migrate to the Sophon blockchain, implying enhanced security, reliability, and ATH token utility for our clients and community. Also, in Q4 we plan to launch Aethir's decentralized governance model, which will empower community members to have a say in the Aethir network's future.
By the end of Q4 2024, we also plan to launch an Eco-fund with selected ecosystem partners to support developers within the robust Aethir ecosystem and an incubator program for early-stage AI, gaming, and computing infrastructure startups.
We have several major milestones in store for 2025, including the launch of additional functionalities for Aethir Edge, our AI Model-as-a-Service offering for AI developers, and Aethir's gaming showcase portal.
Expanding the Aethir Ecosystem and Securing Valuable Community Benefits
Throughout August, numerous innovative enterprises joined the Aethir Ecosystem, with six esteemed gaming partners joining this month’s Aethir EcoDrop. ArmourX, Battlerise, Chibi Clash, and Pink Moon Studio will allocate a percentage of their tokens to our ATH - Gaming staking pool. EARN'M will dedicate a portion of their upcoming tokens to Aethir Checker Node holders as airdrops, while Today will also allocate a special reward to our node holders.
During Gamescom, we announced an industry-defining partnership with Return Entertainment to power their cloud-native smart TV gaming platform and bring cinematic, AAA-quality cloud gaming to living rooms worldwide.
Together with Auros, we are empowering our enterprise clients to seamlessly execute conversions to ATH, which is at the core of Aethir's economic model as the payment currency for Aethir computing credits.
In addition, various partners joined our ecosystem to leverage Aethir's decentralized cloud infrastructure to improve their daily operations across AI, gaming, and Web3. XProtocol is a Web3 Superchain, currently breaking barriers in Web3 gaming and AI, while Huddle is a decentralized real-time communication (dRTC) layer for AI, gaming, social, metaverse, and more. Also, Tribally Games is joining our extensive list of gaming partners using Aethir's DePIN stack as their go-to cloud computing platform.
By teaming up with Avalaunch, we will provide cloud computing infrastructure to innovative Web3 projects on the Avalanche blockchain.
Bonus Rewards for Aethir Edge Early Adopters
In July, we introduced Aethir's $50 million Community Bonus Rewards Program, which surprised our community members with major rewards for their loyalty. In August, we followed up with a major reward announcement for Aethir Edge operators. Early adopters of Aethir Edge technology who purchased their Aethir Edge devices in one of our previous sales rounds are eligible for the Edge Early Adopter Bonus Program, a special initiative designed to accelerate the growth of edge computing on the Aethir network.
The bonus program offers a generous 60% reward bonus in addition to the base rewards earned by Edge devices for two months, from September 1st to October 31st. This is our way of saying thank you to our dedicated early Aethir Edge adopters.
Aethir at Gamescom 2024: Spearheading Cloud Gaming Innovation
Gamescom is the largest and most significant annual gaming conference in Europe, and this year's edition gathered over 350,000 visitors from across the globe. Between 19 and 23 August in Cologne, Germany, more than 200 events across 16 conference areas, 600 exhibitors, and 1000+ gaming titles were presented.
Aethir held an exclusive event with MetaGravity, one of our key gaming partners. The event focused on the fusion of MetaGravity's gaming solutions, including their groundbreaking HyperScale Engine and Aethir's massive, decentralized cloud infrastructure as the go-to choice for powering the most advanced gaming workloads.
At Gamescom, we had the opportunity to discuss the gaming industry's future and position Aethir as a crucial partner for the key narratives of today's gaming industry. These narratives include the rise of immersive gaming experiences, a shift toward decentralization in gaming, and the increasing user demand for cross-platform and cross-reality Integrations. Aethir's decentralized GPU cloud infrastructure with 80,000+ top-of-the-line GPUs and 3000+ NVIDIA H100s is primed to engage with these key narratives and empower developers to launch next-level gaming experiences. With Aethir's help, the future of cloud gaming carries infinite possibilities.
Aethir at Malaysia Blockchain Week and Stanford Blockchain Week
In August, the Aethir team participated in two esteemed blockchain and Web3-focused events on different sides of the globe. Mark Rydon, Aethir's co-founder and CSO, joined an exciting panel at Malaysia Blockchain Week, where he talked about the growing need for reliable and scalable cloud computing in the gaming and AI industries. Mark emphasized the transformative role of AI and its potential in creating immersive gaming experiences by taking the example of open-world games and what they can become using advanced AI features.
Our team also joined the DePIN for Human Connection panel at Stanford Blockchain Week in New York, where they discussed the potential of DePIN evolution and the role of decentralized infrastructure with representatives of Yuobi Capital, CoinDesk, IoTeX, and RSS3.
